One of the first shots with my new camera, but more on that later
Yeah i know, never mind the title. Couldn't really come up with anything decent. Anyway, the lighting was really nice that day and this scene just reminded me somewhat of a fairytale. Just has a bit of that fairytale look about it if you ask me. And i think this colour tone brings that out even more. Hope you like
Awesome shot Mike -- the lighting is gorgeous. The way it's coming down almost makes me think that there is some sort of treasure or person that should be lit up in that spotlight area on the ground. I dunno, maybe my imagination is running away on me, but I like the fact that your picture can make it do that.
I like the lights and the red lightening, (like my blue one with Sete ).
Maybe the sky is too burned but it is also part of the picture. So my mind is not very sure about the sky, I wish the tree would have been smaller to take the branches and the sky but less.

Thanks annie Always love how you comment on my pics and just try to describe them or say how they make you feel And i really couldn't have said it better here. Our park isnt't really that special, but there was just something about the light that day that made it look pretty magical. And i just tried to capture that with this pic.
Thanks karin, always appreciate it when people really look at my pics and try to give some suggestions about how it could have been a better pic. And you've got a good point about that tree & branches. I wish that would have been a bit lower as well. But since it's not, i do feel that this sky suits the pic. better, just for the contrast & overall "feel" of this pic. Anyway, thanks a lot for commenting
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
